Create Playlist

Enter the name of the playlist. Internal use only.
Playlist type
Enter the URL of the playlist file. If this is a local file, you can enter a full or relative path. If changing URL, the playlist will be re-imported. Use with caution as this could lead to data loss if the new playlist differs from the old one.
File
Upload the playlist file. This will be used to import groups and channels.
User agent string to use for fetching the playlist.
Only disable this if you are having issues.

Auth

Add or create additional authentication methods for this playlist.

Authentication Option
When enabled, the playlist will be automatically re-synced at the specified interval.
When enabled, a backup will be created before syncing.
UTC
Specify the CRON schedule for automatic sync, e.g. "0 3 * * *".
When enabled, a failed sync is retried automatically before waiting for the next scheduled sync. Invalidated syncs always wait for the next scheduled sync.
Number of retry attempts before waiting for the next scheduled sync. Each retry waits 15 minutes (Settings > Sync Options).

Last Synced

Never

Playlist Processing

Processing settings for the playlist

When enabled, the playlist will be preprocessed before importing. You can then select which groups you would like to import.
Press [tab] or [return] to add item. You can ignore certain file types from being imported (.e.g.: ".mkv", ".mp4", etc.) This is useful for ignoring VOD or other unwanted content.

Dynamic Groups (TMDB)

Per-playlist virtual groups computed from TMDB list endpoints (Trending, Popular, In Theatres, Coming Soon, Top <Genre>, by TV Network, by Streaming Service). Categories are prepended to the Xtream VOD/series category lists. Requires the TMDB API key in Settings → TMDB Integration.

After each sync, route each enabled VOD channel out of any group that doesn't match a TMDB genre into its own genre group (or "Uncategorized" if no genre data). Groups referenced by an Auto-Add to Custom Playlist rule, or merged groups, are never touched.
After each sync, route each enabled series out of any category that doesn't match a TMDB genre into its own genre category (or "Uncategorized" if no genre data). Categories referenced by an Auto-Add to Custom Playlist rule, or merged categories, are never touched. Independent of the VOD toggle, turn this on/off separately if genre-based categorization doesn't fit how you organize series.
Dynamic Groups Configuration

URL Find & Replace Preprocessing

Define find & replace rules that run against each provider stream URL during import, before channels are saved. Useful for cleaning up malformed provider URLs (e.g. fixing a wrong scheme or port). Rules execute in order and only affect newly imported data - existing channel URLs are not modified until the next sync.

URL Find & Replace Rule

Stream Probing

Configure automatic stream probing after each playlist sync.

Live
When enabled, live channels will be probed with ffprobe after sync to collect stream metadata (codec, resolution, bitrate) and store it to the database for fast retrieval. Required for fast channel switching when using the emby-xtream plugin.
VOD & Series
When enabled, both VOD movies and series episodes are automatically probed after each sync. This significantly increases sync time but enables Trash Guide naming with stream-stat-based quality/codec/HDR detection. It falls back to existing TMDB metadata where probing is not possible.

Auto-Enable Settings

Settings for automatically enabling new content

When enabled, newly added Live channels will be enabled by default.

Media Server Sources

Use matching files from your media server integrations instead of provider streams

When a VOD movie or series episode matches an item in your Emby, Jellyfin, Plex, or local media integrations (by TMDB/TVDB/IMDB ID), stream the integration's file instead of the provider's. Falls back to the provider if the media source is unavailable.
Requires TMDB IDs on this playlist (enable TMDB lookup or metadata fetch).

Auto-Merge Processing

Automatically merge channels with the same stream ID into failover relationships after sync

When enabled, channels with the same stream ID will be automatically merged with failover relationships after each sync.

Find & Replace Rules

Define find & replace rules that automatically run after each playlist sync. Rules execute in order.

Find replace rules

Auto Enable/Disable Rules

Automatically enable or disable channels whose title or name matches a regex pattern, re-evaluated after each playlist sync. Rules run in order and the last matching rule wins; channels matching no rule keep their current state. Useful for event channels that providers rename between syncs (e.g. disable "NO EVENT" placeholders).

Auto enable/disable rules

Sort Alpha Configs

Define sort configurations that automatically run after each playlist sync. Configurations execute in order.

Sort alpha config

Auto-Add to Custom Playlist

Configure groups to automatically sync into Custom Playlists after each successful sync. Each rule syncs the selected source group(s) into one Custom Playlist.

Playlist Output

Determines how the playlist is output

Enabled output types
Retain logs of playlist syncs. This is useful for debugging and tracking changes to the playlist. This can lead to increased sync time and storage usage depending on the size of the playlist.
You will need to re-sync your playlist, or wait for the next scheduled sync, if changing this. This will overwrite any existing channel sort order customization for this playlist.
Automatically assign Channel sort number based on playlist order
You will need to re-sync your playlist, or wait for the next scheduled sync, if changing this. This will overwrite any existing group sort order customization for this playlist.
Automatically assign Group sort number based on playlist order
You will need to re-sync your playlist, or wait for the next scheduled sync, if changing this. This will overwrite any existing series category sort order customization for this playlist.
Automatically assign Series Category sort number based on provider order
When enabled, catch-up attributes will be stripped from M3U output and Xtream API responses (tv_archive, tv_archive_duration, has_archive).
Strip all catch-up related attributes from the playlist output and Xtream API. Useful when your provider's catch-up doesn't work or is unreliable.
When enabled, the provider's original stream URL will be used directly in M3U output instead of the internal Xtream-format URL.
Output the provider URL directly in M3U instead of routing through the internal Xtream URL format.
This can be used by clients to better categorize channels.
When enabled, a <tvg-type> tag will be included in the M3U output based on the channel type (live, vod, series).
If no channel number is set, output an automatically incrementing number.
Channels without a number are output last, in the standard group order.
Output channels ordered by channel number instead of by group.

Streaming Output

Output processing options

Not proxied
When enabled, all streams will be proxied through the application. This allows for better compatibility with various clients and enables features such as stream limiting and output format selection.
Not proxied
When enabled, channel logos will be proxied through the application. Logos will be cached for up to 30 days to reduce bandwidth and speed up loading times.
Enter 0 to use to use provider defined value. This value is also used when generating the Xtream API user info response.
Number of streams available for HDHR and Xtream API service (if using).
The portal/provider timezone (DST-aware). Needed to correctly use timeshift functionality.

EPG Output

EPG output options

When enabled, dummy EPG data will be generated for the number of days set below. Thus, it is possible to assign channels for which no EPG data is available. As program information, the channel title and the set program length are used.
How you would like to ID your channels in the EPG.
